The Freakquency focuses on non-mainstream alternative rock. It would likely air a lot of shoegaze, post-punk, and noise pop. Examples would range from Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, Jesus and the Mary Chain, The Cure, Wednesday, Car Seat Headrest, Modest Mouse, etc. In the show, I plan on talking a little bit about the significant history of each genre/band.
